Workshop on Establishment of Professional Conduct and Ethics among LIS professionals
The Sri Lanka Library Association (SLLA) will conduct a one day workshop for LIS professionals representing all sectors of Libraries in Sri Lanka. As LIS professionals you are cordially invited to participate at this workshop that will be held on the 29th of September 2016 at the National Library Auditorium.
The objective of the workshop is to create an Awareness Programme on Professional Conduct and Ethics (PCE) for all sectors of librarianship with the ultimate aim of propagating PCE among LIS professionals in Sri Lanka.
The Workshop will be held free of charge with patronage of International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) under the Building Strong Library Associations programme and SLLA. A certificate will be presented to the participants at the completion of the programme. The participants will be provided with tea and lunch.
This workshop will be a great training opportunity as it is of prime importance to the LIS profession.
Time: 8.30 am – 4.00 pm. (Registration at 8.30 am.)
